Bailey started dancing at age 9 and has been in love with everything about it ever since!  by the time she finished high school she had been training in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, musical theatre, hip hop, and lyrical! Bailey also completed Jr./Pre Intermediate Jazz and Tap Exams with the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers and Intermediate Ballet Exams with the International Dance Acclaim. Bailey has also performed in The Nutcracker many times with Footprints Dance Centre in various roles such as, Mother Ginger, The Snow Queen, Waltz of the Flowers, and The Sugar Plum Fairies! She also performed at many community events such as retirement homes and art gallerys as she is a strong believer that community comes before competition.

Bailey has always wanted to share her love of dance with others. When she was 12, she became an assistant dance teacher at her home studio Footprints Dance Centre in Woodstock Ontario, and assisted her teachers with many classes with many classes with children ages 3-10. When she was 17, she was promoted to summer camp employee at her home studio, putting her in charge of camp planning, choreography, and running a smooth and fun week of camp for dancers!

In Bailey’s grade 12 year, she founded her high schools dance team and was in charge of choreography, planning competitions, and ensuring her team was a postive and fun experiences for her teammates. The team went on to win many overalls and special awards throughout their season and represented their school in a professional and passionate matter.

Bailey is now about to enter her second year of studying at Brock University for Concurrent Education and is also a member of Brock Dance training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop! Bailey is very excited to be venturing on a new path with Step Above and cannot wait to make lasting memories and sharing her love of dance with other dancers!
