FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE TYPICALLY IN A CLASS?
In our recreational program, the class size ranges between 4-12 dancers. For our younger recreational dancers, we have an assistant in the class to help the students.

2. HOW IS MY CHILD PLACED IN A CLASS?
When the student is placed in a class, age and ability is the initial considerations when placing a student. We understand that every student responds to classes differently. Our one main requirement for the students when placing them in a class is that the dancer is comfortable and confident in the class they pick.

3. IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Yes there is a dress code and shoe list which can be found through the Class Requirements.

4. WHERE CAN I GET THE REQUIRED SHOES & UNIFORM?
All shoes and attire can be purchased at Dancewear Niagara . Alternative places to find the proper Attire Only include Walmart, Once Upon A Child, Old Navy, Winners ect.

5. HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE WITH PARENTS?
Our primary way of communication is via email. A secondary way of communication is via phone call in urgent times.

6. WHAT DOES THE COST INCLUDE AND WHAT ADDITIONAL COSTS CAN I EXPECT?
For all dancers, the seasonal fee covers the cost of your child's instruction for the months of September through May. Additional costs include a costume for each class that your dancer is enrolled in.
For our competitive dancers: the parent/guardian is responsible for payment of any competition entry fees, makeup fees and team jacket fees.

7. IF MY CHILD IS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THE CLASS THEY REGISTERED FOR, IS THERE A REFUND?
If a student is unable to attend class(es), no refund will be permitted to any prior payments made to Step Above Dance Academy.
